Consumer data capture occurs when a consumer encounters a brand offer they find appealing and proceeds to scan a QR code provided through various channels such as social media, subway posters, TV advertising, or in retail stores. These entry points initiate a data capture flow that prompts the consumer to provide consent for their data to be used. Consumers are fully aware of how their data will be used, for how long, and have complete control over it. This transparent process ensures that consumers maintain control over their data and are informed about its usage, fostering trust and accountability between brands and their customers. CONSUMER DATA FLOW & WALLET DESIGN

When a consumer encounters a brand offer they like and scans the QR code, they are redirected to the Qonsent app, where they are prompted to provide their personal information. The Qonsent app securely captures their data as they input their details. After this step, the consumer proceeds to the Smart Qontract section, where they are presented with detailed information about how their data will be used, the duration of usage, and who can access their data. At this point, the consumer has the option to either consent to the brand's terms or decline if they are not comfortable with them. Once the consumer provides their consent, they receive a confirmation message, and the offer is sent to their email address. To redeem the offer, the consumer can either use a coupon provided in the email or present a confirmation number at the online checkout or in a retail store. This streamlined process ensures that consumers are informed about their data usage, have control over their consent, and can easily access and utilize the brand offer either online or in-person.
